Alix Pentecost-Farren is an illustrator and visual artist. Her work has included stationery design, mud murals, animations, and installations. She went to school for art and design at the North Carolina School of the Arts and then studied illustration and filmmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design before moving to New York.
Her clients include Nonesuch Records, Thrillist, McDonalds, Electric Literature, Medium.com, Sugar Hill Records/Concord Music, CNN/Courageous Studios, Rising Stars Magazine, Josh Garrels, and Margaret Glaspy/ATO Records.
Her work has been awarded the Communication Arts Award of Excellence, shown by galleries in the U.S. and abroad. She has been an artist in residence at the SVA RisoLAB, the New York Center for Book Arts, Elsewhere Museum, and the Vermont Studio Center.
